I've collected some resources I discovered in my Brain Tumour research in the hopes that these will help anyone going through this or a loved one who is looking to find out more about the condition.

Brain Tumour Research
Their Vision
To find a cure for all types of brain tumours
Their Mission
To increase the UK investment in research into brain tumours
One in three people in the UK knows someone affected by a brain tumour. This disease is indiscriminate; it can affect anyone at any age. What’s more, brain tumours continue to kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer yet, to date, just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease since records began in 2002.
Brain Tumour Research is determined to change this.
Brain Tumour Research mainly focus on finding better treatments and a cure by funding research and pushing for brain tumours to get more attention and investment. They fund six Centres of Excellence across the UK, providing long-term funding for dedicated brain tumour research programmes including the Scottish Centre of Excellence local to me.
The Tessa Jowell Foundation
The Tessa Jowell Foundation was founded to honour the legacy of the late Baroness Tessa Jowell, whose life’s work was devoted to improving lives through more compassionate, inclusive and equitable systems in public health and early childhood development.
Tessa Jowell used her own experience of brain cancer to campaign for better brain tumour research, treatment and care across the UK, leaving a lasting legacy through the Tessa Jowell Brain Cancer Mission. Her Foundation work hard behind the scenes to improve brain tumour care across the NHS, helping make sure people can access specialist expertise and high-quality treatment wherever they live.
Brain Cancer Justice
Despite brain cancer being one of the deadliest forms of cancer, killing more children and adults under 40 than any other, it has received only 1% of cancer research funding since 2002.
This year, 13,000 people will be diagnosed with a primary brain tumour in the UK.
Despite promises of new research by successive governments, there have been no new treatments for decades.
They are here to act. We are here to shout loudly until we’ve taken #terminaltotreatable
Brain Cancer Justice is a campaigning group I have joined who recently managed to achieve over 109,000 signatures on a petition which was debated in Westminster on 15th June 2026, please follow our campaining journey on instagram or visit the website for more information.
